Brilliant New EFT Groups Launching In London And Chichester To Help You Clear Your Stress And Anxiety

I am so excited to launch my new monthly tapping groups in London and Chichester this summer! With so much going on in the world, it’s important to create calm and relief for yourself and a tapping group could be just the thing you need.

What is EFT?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or ‘tapping’) is an incredibly powerful technique for clearing stress and anxiety, releasing anger and frustration and for reducing pain. There have been so many ‘miracle cures’ reported by people all over the world and I have experienced incredible shifts and gained clarity both personally (it’s why I became a practitioner) and professionally whilst using tapping.  Even though it’s such a great tool, that is easy to use, many people simply don’t get around to it on a regular basis. Anything that creates change will also create resistance, that’s just human nature - generally, the mind fears change.

Why tap in a group?

Tapping in a group can help you to feel safe and promotes empathy. It can be reassuring to remember that we all experience the same feelings at some point in our lives. We may not react in the same way to a situation but we will have an emotional response. One person might get angry and shout, acting out their feelings. Another person might get angry but won’t give away even the slightest hint that they are anything other than calm - like the proverbial swan, gliding calmly over the surface, whilst kicking furiously under water.

Neither way is right or wrong and feeling anger, or any other emotion, isn’t a problem… unless it’s a problem! If emotions start to rule your life and your responses, it’s a sign that you need some help.

Humans are sociable in nature - we need each other in order to thrive. Having the support of a monthly de-stress group is a great way to integrate EFT into your life. Tapping in a group is incredibly powerful. The intention and impact that comes from a group of people focussing on one issue is palpable. People often report feeling the same things as other people in the room. There is a wonderful connection.

What to expect

There are several ways to work in a group. Boundaries and intentions are vital. Some big feelings can come up and in the right situation, huge release can occur. This won’t happen if the space doesn’t feel held or safe.

When tapping in a group, there can be a focus on one person, who may describe an issue or pain that they would like to clear, sharing as much or as little as they like. Everyone will then tap together, focussing on the issue of the individual and/or how they are affected by it. Alternatively the group might tap together whilst focussing on their own issues. Whatever happens, no two sessions are ever the same!

Where are the sessions?

In Chichester, the group will be held In the beautiful new cafe Luckes, North Street. It’s the perfect venue - a lovely space that is light and airy. My new therapy room is upstairs.

The London group is in my room in Harley Street. It’s smaller and more intimate, so book early to avoid disappointment!

The first session will be a general look at stress and reactions in the body and an introduction/reminder of EFT. If there was something you could clear using EFT, what would it be? I would love to hear from you about what you need. Please comment below or email me.
